Kubuntu 11.04 64-bit on Vostro 1500

Wireless: have Broadcom Corporation BCM4311 802.11a/b/g (rev 01), so did as instructed at [1]

sudo apt-get install firmware-b43-installer
sudo apt-get install --reinstall bcmwl-kernel-source

Flash: trying [2]
